Before joining the independent Bar, I was a principal at a leading Christchurch law firm where I advised clients across a broad range of disputes including contract, construction, insurance, and regulatory matters. I regularly assist with disputed payment claims and statutory demands, and disciplinary proceedings for professionals. I have also represented local authorities in various proceedings and advised global corporations in contractual disputes and their obligations under New Zealand law.

I have appeared before the Māori Land Court, District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and various tribunals. I have extensive experience in mediation, arbitration, adjudications, and settlement negotiations.
