Samuel Henry

Sam has a broad civil and commercial practice, with experience in resolving business, property, construction, trust, estate, employment, and insolvency disputes and litigation.

He also acts for clients involved in criminal and regulatory matters.

Sam advises and represents a variety of clients involved in Court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation, and arbitration).

Before joining Bridgeside Chambers, Sam was a senior lawyer in a specialist Christchurch litigation firm, and won the National Young Lawyers’ Mooting Competition. ​

Sam graduated with First Class Honours in Law from the University of Otago, where he was also a tutor and research assistant.
